Cru Members play a major part in making all of this work. Your favorite coffee shops, sandwich deli's, pizza joint's, or grocery stores are fighting to make ends meet. They will do what attracts more customers and they will take the cheapest path possible to get there. After all, they're running a business and need to find ways to put food on the table for their families. 

Historically, consumers have not cared about local businesses supplying plastic products because their harmful effects were less known. Today, Cru Members know this is no longer true. However, many businesses STILL believe customers will continue to show up regardless of how many plastic products they supply you with. They believe you're okay with their plastic products polluting the planet, causing cancer, and destroying our chance at sustainability. Together, we alter that perspective and drive change to improve our eco system, avoid cancer, and build a path towards sustainability. Here is how you can help:

1. Support businesses who make the switch and tell them you're happy about it. If you find out about it on social media, share it. They need your help. 

2. When your favorite local shop provides single-use plastic products deny use, i.e. carry your sandwich without a bag if a plastic bag is all they provide for you

3. Tell your favorite local shops you want them to switch. Your opinion matters to them. 

4. Help them switch with the BluCru. After all, that is what we're here for!
